Robert Half is assisting a leading Global Consulting Firm in finding an experienced Microsoft Purview Data Governance Consultant. This role is essential for managing and optimising data governance using Microsoft Purview, with a specific focus on structured data tasks.
Contract Assignment Details:
* Location: Remote
* Daily Rate: c.£650-750 p/day via FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company
* Contract Type: 6-Month Contract
Key Responsibilities and Experience Required:
* Implement and Optimise Microsoft Purview: Extensive experience with Microsoft Purview is crucial. Leverage Purview to enhance data governance practices, including scanning Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Databricks, creating data catalogues, and visualising data lineage.
* Resolve Pain Points: Proven ability to address challenges such as lineage diagram generation, asset classification, and integration with PowerBI and Azure Data Factory.
* Provide Expertise and Training: Offer guidance on best practices and support in overcoming limitations. Demonstrated expertise in providing training and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in connecting and configuring Purview with Databricks and PowerBI. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data governance and data integration issues.
* Consulting and Integration: Experience in consulting roles or working directly with clients to deliver tailored solutions, focusing on data governance, security, and compliance.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with IT, InfoSec, and business teams to implement data governance solutions and identify data owners across different regions.
