The company is a well-established social housing contractor within the property industry and work across a wide range of contracts across the UK. This region covers the West Midlands work across a number of contracts working alongside social housing providers, local authorities and housing associations.
Description
* Oversee all financial aspects of the construction projects
* Lead a team of quantity surveyors
* Negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement
* Prepare reports and financial forecasts
* Manage contracts and legal implications
* Liaise with stakeholders and clients to maintain relationships
* Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
* Implement strategies for risk management
Profile
A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should already have experience working in the R&M field.
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field or extensive experience
* Proficiency in handling financial aspects of construction projects
* Strong leadership skills to lead a team effectively
* Excellent negotiation skills
* A solid understanding of contracts and legal implications
* Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and clients
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations
* Ability to implement effective risk management strategies
