Our Client
Our client is a specialty lines insurer, owned by a larger global insurance entity that is part of a major insurance group. The client’s focus is on writing agency and specialty insurance business, with operations in 9 locations and access to a global network spanning more than 175 countries through the parent company’s network. The client also enjoys the same financial strength as its parent company.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver monthly expense reporting and quarterly forecasting.
- Produce timely, insightful monthly expense reports and manage monthly headcount/FTE reporting.
- Update the workforce planning model for quarterly forecasting.
- Implement process improvements for forecasting complex cost centres.
- Review expense journals and drive automation of expense reporting using Power BI.
- Analyse expense variances (year-over-year and forecast/plan) and review quarterly reconciliation of selected balance sheet accounts.
- Ensure accurate payment processing of invoices/vendors and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Provide various ad hoc analyses as required by the Head of Finance/CFO.
- Partner with cost centre owners to analyse, challenge, and agree on their cost bases.
