Job Description:
Assembly Technician
* Basic Salary: £22,000 to £24,000

Are you looking for an opportunity to work with more interesting products? As part of a company of around 50 people, you’ll be part of a close-knit production team. The Assembly Technician will build and assemble specialist equipment that needs high precision and high-quality workmanship.
The Production team works closely with all departments to make sure shipping deadlines are met. You will be responsible for mechanical assembly work, using tools such as soldering irons. The products are varied and there is a huge product range, keeping the days varied and interesting. They will fly by!
The Role:
* Responsible for full product build including final inspection and testing upon completion.
* Repairing products
* Testing and calibration of the finished product.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
* Using hand and power tools.
The Candidate: Mechanical Assembly Technician
You will have most of the following skills and experience:
* Equivalent qualifications of BTEC level 2 diploma in Mechanical Engineering / NVQ level 3 equivalent or higher
* Mechanical assembly experience.
* High attention to detail and ability to follow engineering drawings.
* Dexterous: comfortable with intricate hand work.
* Great communication skills.
