Junior Draughtsperson

We are proud to be partnered with a long-standing Newark based client who are seeking a Junior Draughtsperson to join their team, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Team liaising with all departments.
THE ROLE As a Junior Draughtsperson your role will include:
* Compile drawings for client specifications
* Resolve potential issues or problems on the shop floor
* Liaise with the design team to resolve production or development issues
* Working with the sales team to produce drawings for estimating
* Ensure standard operating procedures are followed at all times
* Resolve any customer issues or problems acting as customer liaison
* Managing and updating relevant databases
* Attend site meetings and training course when required
THE CANDIDATE An ideal Junior Draughtsperson will possess the following attributes:
* Level 3 NVQ, BTEC or higher in Mechanical Engineer
* Competent in Autodesk AutoCAD 2D + Autodesk Inventor and knowledge of coding using Ilogic
* Strong ability to plan, organise and prioritise work
* Proficient in MS Office and Excel
* Ability to work under minimum supervision and to deadline
* Confident with liaising with clients, engineers, and staff
* Clean driving licence
