Job Description:
Sterling Williams are excited to partner with a growing FinTech organisation who are looking to hire a UK Head of Compliance.
The successful candidate will support the CCO in day to day managing of the Compliance Team and will have previously held SMF16/SMF17 role, or registration from an E-Money (EMI) or Authorised Payments (API) institution.
Salary circa £100 - 120,000 pa plus benefits, and this will be office based (London) 3 days per week.
* Experience in a similar compliance role within the financial services industry, preferably within a FinTech environment
* In-depth knowledge of FCA regulations and UK financial services laws
* Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance programs and policies
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex compliance issues and develop effective solutions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
* High ethical standards and a commitment to integrity and professionalism
* Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities historically, and has a strong grasp of onboarding institutions globally.
This is a newly created opportunity in a growing FinTech, that will take a number of day to day responsibilities off the incumbent Chief Compliance Officer - this allows a large scope for the role to develop and expand in responsibilities also as the organisation does.
