Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Llantrisant
Position: Full time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000

We are delighted to be partnered with this well-established, food manufacturing business based near Taunton. With presence throughout the UK, they successfully manufacture high quality products to variety of high-profile customers. They take pride in ensuring their products offer high-quality to exceed industry standards.
Our client is now recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their journey in achieving sustainable growth through product innovation. The successful candidate will be qualified, with experience within the food industry. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to quickly progress to a Technical Lead position.
Responsibilities of Quality Assurance Manager:
* Overseeing the quality assurance department
* Developing and implementing quality assurance procedures
* Conducting quality audits and inspections
* Identifying and resolving quality issues
* Ensuring that products meet all relevant standards
* Maintaining accurate records of quality testing
* Liaising with suppliers and customers on quality matters
* Monitor the temperature of the environment and products
* Monitor and report monthly KPI’s, including customer returns
* Support with staff training about quality compliance
The Ideal Candidate:
* Must have experience in quality assurance within the food industry
* Strong understanding of quality assurance standards, principles and procedures
* The desire to learn and progress in a role within food quality
* Perfect communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong Excel skills, ability to analyse and present data accurately, with attention to detail
* Able to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
