Job Description:
Residential Conveyancer
- Up to £40k
- Office based
- York
Our client is an established, multi-discipline firm with multiple offices across the Yorkshire region. They are looking for a Residential Conveyancer to join the property team in their York office. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance within your conveyancing career, as they are happy to provide an unmatched level of training to help you advance.
Duties
* Managing a varied caseload of conveyancing files from inception to completion
* Dealing with matters at all stages from initial instruction to archiving
* Obtaining and preparing files
* Billing files and obtaining monies due to the firm from clients and other parties
* Maintaining legal knowledge and skills
You
* You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience running a conveyancing caseload
* Exposure to and experience handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity and more
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to organise and prioritise workload
* Excellent knowledge of conveyancing
* Fantastic IT skills - Windows, Word, Excel etc.
* Flexible can-do attitude
* Ability to deal with technical details and solve complex issues in a client-friendly way
On Offer
* Annual salary up to £40,000
* Office based working
* Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
