I have an exciting opportunity to join my client company in a full-time permanent position as a Payroll Administrator. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Payroll individual to join a successful company within their head Office site based in Derby and join the friendly Payroll team of 4, reporting to the Payroll Manager.

About the Role:
This opportunity is full time, 37 hours per week flexible, and offers hybrid working, with up to 2 days working from home, free on site parking and an impressive modern office environment.

As a Payroll Administrator you will join both the Payroll team of 4 and contribute to the overall end to end processing of a monthly payroll in excess of 2000 employees across multiple sites within the UK. You will have the opportunity to see career advancement and join a team that will be happy to guide and encourage an ambitious career minded Payroll professional.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing the end to end payroll for in excess of 2000 employees on a monthly basis for multiple sites across the UK in an accurate and timely manner.
Manual Payroll calculations-SSP,SMP, holidays etc.
Pension processing and setting up employees onto the auto enrolment scheme.
Payroll query resolution.
Understand and operate the Time & Attendance system.
Complete month-end and year-end tasks within deadlines.
Be involved in continuous improvement projects.
General office admin duties.

Ideally you will have:

Previous experience in a Payroll role completing end to end payroll duties.
Ability to work self-directed.
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
The ability to work well independently as well as part of a team, with strong team player attitude.
Excellent numeracy skills.
A keen desire to seek and voice process improvement ideas.
Confident with basic Microsoft Excel tasks.
