We have a fabulous opportunity with an award-winning, Lexcel accredited Coventry city centre law firm for a Private Client Paralegal/Fee Earner with Wills and Probate case handling experience.

The job will involve:
* Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, under supervision including: * Wills and Probate
* Administration of Estates
* Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Inheritance Tax Planning and Trusts
* Court of Protection and Deputyship

* Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorneys
* Drafting wills, probate applications and applications to the Court of Protection
* Assisting in the preparation of estate and distribution accounts
* Preparing bills and processing financial information
* File management using a legal case management system
* Attending client meetings
* Dealing with vulnerable and bereaved clients in a sympathetic and professional manner
Suitable candidates will have:
* Experience of running (or assisting with running) a private client caseload 
* Experience of court of protection work (desirable but not essential)
* Experience of  dealing with wills and probate matters and LPA’s
* The ability to work well using your own initiative, and as part of a team 
* Excellent client care skills including the ability to demonstrate an understanding of clients’ needs and expectations
* Good time-management and organisational skills 
This is a full-time permanent job working 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday. The role is currently office-based, however the opportunity for home-working part of the week may be considered, going forward.

* An additional 5 days’ leave, to be taken on the Tuesday following bank holidays
