Job Description:
Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Council are looking to recruit Children’s Social Workers and Senior Social Workers to join ourteams in Suffolk. You will join us on a permanent basis with full time or part time hours available. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary of £34,834 - £44,305 per annum (pro rata for part time), plus retention payment of up to £4,000 per year (pro rata for part time).
Job roles available:
* Social Workers:£34,834 - £38,223 per annum, plus £4,000 annual retention payment (pro rata for part time)
* Senior Social Workers:£38,925- £44,305 per annum, plus £3,500 annual retention payment (pro rata for part time)

* Social care teams working with children subject to s17 and s47 assessment, a child in need, and child protection plans
* Child in care teams working with our children in care, both children in long-term placements and subject to care proceedings
