Electrician | Ireland | Full Time | Competitive Salary
Electrician
A leading provider of high-quality data centre solutions are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join their team in Ireland.
As an experienced Electrician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within their projects. High standards and Health and Safety are central to their business and as such, this role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure all electrical systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards, adhering to all relevant codes and regulations.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in various projects, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.
* Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components, providing timely solutions.
* Perform all work in compliance with electrical codes, drawings, and standards, ensuring safety and quality.
* Test electrical systems and components to verify proper functioning and performance.
* Complete required documentation of repairs and service information accurately and timely.
* Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts, managing stock levels effectively.
* Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components to prevent issues and extend system life.
* Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs to minimise downtime and disruptions.
Job Description:
* Carry out a range of electrical safety tests on installations to ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Organise specific onsite requirements of customers in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Carry out all works to customers’ satisfaction, maintaining high standards of service.
* Implement new standards and procedures in accordance with current standards and legislation, adapting to changes in working practices as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications: Skills and Experience
* Advanced Craft Certificate Level 6 Electrician
* Safe Electric Registered an advantage.
* Irish Safepass
* Manual handling
* Proven experience as an Electrician, minimum 3-5 years.
* Strong technical ability and knowledge of systems and standards.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full clean Irish Driving License
* Flexibility to working hours and travel will be required.
