We are looking for a Pricing Specialist for our client based in Bradford. In this role, you’ll price sea shipments to and from the Far/Middle East and Indian Subcontinent.

This role would suit someone who has experience of working at a freight forwarder and wants to focus on the pricing part of the role. The company offers a fantastic working environment and friendly, hardworking tea.

Main duties to include:
* Receive requests for customer quotations
* Negotiate rates with carriers, hauliers and suppliers
* Confirm availability of equipment
* Prepare and submit quotations to customers
* Follow up on quotations and gather customer feedback
* Ensure correct margins are applied
* Track success and failure of quotations
We are looking for:
* Experience of pricing shipments
* Ideally, experience in Deep Sea, however, other modes may be considered
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good negotiation skills and excellent communication skills
* Someone who is organised and sees processes through to completion
