My client is an international design and manufacturing organisation, with a fantastic reputation in a multitude of different industries. They are well established, with an impressive history over the last 60 years.
There is the rate opportunity for a Procurement Analyst to join and support their Procurement function, reporting to the Tactical Procurement Manager. You will work with the team to ensure the cost effective and timely delivery of materials to the business in line with MRP system requirements whilst maintaining stock holding targets.
Experience:
* Previous knowledge of production / inventory management in a manufacturing environment and end to end procurement process/ MRP/ERP systems, ideally 1 to 2 years working experience
* Strong commercial awareness
* Competent user of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
* A grounding in negotiation skills and the ambition to grow procurement skillset
* Ability to work as part of a team and to support cross functional improvement initiatives in a fast-moving environment
* Working towards CIPS qualifications is desirable
* High level of detail and accuracy along with good oral and written skills and good interpersonal skills
