We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Care Manager to lead our team. This role is integral to ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes the well-being and development of every child in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and develop a team of care professionals, providing guidance, supervision, and support.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety standards.
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each resident, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care practices, making improvements where necessary.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the sustainability and efficiency of the service.
* Liaise with families, external agencies, and stakeholders to facilitate comprehensive care and support for residents.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
Requirements:
* Must hold a full UK driving licence.
* Must possess an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential care setting.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* A commitment to delivering high-quality care and promoting positive outcomes for children and young people.
