Job Summary: Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business analysis within a digital agency, with specific expertise in Content Management Systems (CMS). This role requires a strategic thinker capable of bridging the gap between clients’ business needs and the technical team’s capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, processes, and requirements.
* Conduct detailed analysis of clients’ business needs and translate them into comprehensive project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
* Work closely with project managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure CMS solutions align with business goals and user needs.
* Lead workshops and meetings with clients to gather requirements, present findings, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
* Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current systems and desired functionalities.
* Develop and maintain project roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
* Assist in the selection, implementation, and customisation of CMS platforms (such as WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, etc.) based on client needs.
* Provide expert advice on best practices for CMS implementation, including content strategy, SEO, and user experience.
* Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the CMS solutions meet the defined requirements and quality standards.
* Create and deliver training materials and documentation to clients for effective use and management of the CMS.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to digital solutions and CMS.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a digital agency environment.
* Proven experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), including hands-on implementation and customisation.
* Strong understanding of web development processes, digital marketing, and user experience design.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
* Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with specific CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, or similar.
* Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies.
* Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
* Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or project management (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner).
