Job Description:
Here at Kingston College, we are seeking a Sessional Lecturer to teach ESOL/EFL to 19+ learners across all levels, using a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies, to meet the individual needs of all learners. This post involves teaching at least one evening per week.
You will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to ensure learners are gaining a positive learning experience, all members of the group are respected, are able to participate and ultimately, achieve their qualifications.
Candidates for this role will hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject and have excellent current teaching skills in ESOL/EFL across all levels. With experience of working with both teens and adults, you will have acted as a personal tutor, dealing with pastoral issues, and have experience of working to meet Awarding Organisations’ standards. We would also like you to have current knowledge of curriculum changes and the implications for teaching and learning strategies, and have a thorough understanding of the Quality Assurance cycle and your role within in.
