SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Lewisham, SE23
Payscale: £95-£110
Duration: Long-term to Permanent

Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant seeking a new long-term position?
Do you have a passion for working with young students and helping them achieve their study goals?
LTF Recruitment are currently looking to assign a SEND Teaching Assistant to start working in a positive, inclusive primary school in Lewisham, London. The school are looking for Teaching Assistants who have previous experience working with students who have Special Educational Needs and leading 1:1 interventions.
Responsibilities include:
* Working alongside the classroom teacher providing learning support to all students and assisting SEN students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.
* Keeping records of student progress and development and communicating them to the class teacher and the child’s parents.
* Assist in designing stimulating study and play areas.
* Ensure a high level of engagement and good class behaviour.
About you:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or Equivalent
* Previous experience working with SEND children or working in primary school environments.
* Enhanced DBS Certificate
* Positive, outgoing, and resilient personality.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
