Job Description:
Executive Assistant
* Reports to: Executive HR Director
* Location: Birmingham
* Salary: up to £34,000
* Type: 37 hours per week, Onsite role
Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Birmingham.
Job Summary
This role is ideal for a proactive, discreet PA with senior-level support experience. The position requires strong organizational skills to manage the Executive Office, liaise with staff and stakeholders, and handle a varied workload while contributing to key projects for the Senior Leadership Team.
Main Duties
* Manage SLT diaries, schedule routine meetings, and coordinate events with other departments.
* Handle inquiries from internal and external sources, often without needing to refer to SLT.
* Prepare for meetings, including drafting agendas, minute-taking, and distributing necessary documentation.
* Organize room bookings, hospitality, and stationery supplies as needed.
* Create presentations, reports, and other documents for the SLT, and support/deputize for the EA to the Principal.
* Coordinate college events, ensure confidentiality, and uphold college values, including safeguarding and equality.
* Maintain accurate filing systems, improve administrative procedures, and notify SLT of any identified risks.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a PA role supporting a senior executive
* Experience collating minutes from meetings
* High level of IT proficiency and experience of Microsoft Office
* Proven diary management skills
* Strong time management and organizational abilities
* Able to pass a DBS check
* No previous convictions
