Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Telford
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
Top of the range will be offered to a candidate with previous experience in Purchase Ledger and elements of Sales Ledger, such as cash allocation.
We are currently recruiting for a fabulous and globally recognised Manufacturing business based in Telford! We are looking for a confident and friendly Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for a candidate with previous Transactional experience to take the next steps in their career in an established business! Responsibilities Will Include:
*  The Accounts Assistant will be taking on Purchase Ledger duties such as invoice processing, processing of payments runs and supplier statement reconciliations
* This role will also include elements of the Sales Ledger including cash allocation and bank reconciliation
* The Accounts Assistant will gain the opportunity to get involved with financial reporting and VAT returns!
Ideally, You Will:
*  Have previous working experience in Purchase Ledger in order to hit the ground running in those elements of the role.
* Some exposure to cash allocation would be ideal however is not essential as training can be provided.
* Be a confident user of Microsoft packages, specifically Microsoft Excel.
* Be willing to learn and get involved with the team.
