Job Description:
Impression Recruitment are extremely pleased to be recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a highly established business in the City of London (EC3R) that operate in the financial services sector and have an international presence. You will be joining a company that really sets themselves apart from the rest and strives to achieve operational excellence by taking a humble, honest approach to their work.
Our client is looking for a candidate who can demonstrate excellent skills in chasing and securing outstanding debt. This will be working with B2B clients however applicants will be considered from a B2C credit control environment. If you have the confidence, people skills and proactive nature to build relationships with clients over the phone, and ensure the successful collection of outstanding payments, then this is the role you have been looking for!
 
As Credit Controller you will be responsible for:
* Collect outstanding balances in line with company goals
* Be the first point of contact, handle queries and solve disputes
* Build strong working relationships and work with internal parties
* Provide timely updates and report on collection progress
* Adhere to relevant company policies and procedures
* Reconcile and validate company ledgers and payment schedules
* Ensure prompt payment of due balances
* Prepare monthly claims processing lists
* Review transactions for payment and collection
* Have an understanding of relevant regulations and procedures
* Assist with team projects as required
* Update company systems
* General ad-hoc duties suitable to the post
Skills required to be successful in the Credit Controller position:
* Experience working within a Credit Control position
* Knowledge of relevant sanctions and payment processes
* Strong planning and communication skills on all levels
* The ability to perform analysis and carry out reporting
* Can perform complex account reconciliations
* A team player with a proactive approach
* A keen eye for detail
In return you will receive a salary of between £27,000 - £33,000 per annum and on top of this you will be entitled to a very generous bonus structure of 20% of your annual salary per year, realistically taking your earnings up to £39,600 per annum DOE!
