Fire Alarm Engineer Location: Buckingham/London
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 DOE
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Alarm Engineer to join our family-owned business in the Buckingham and London areas. Responsibilities * Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in commercial and residential properties
* Perform fault finding and diagnostics on various fire alarm systems, including Kentec, EMS, Advanced, and Appollo
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including FIA qualifications
* Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used
* Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members
* Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on industry advancements and best practices
Qualifications * Proven experience in fire alarm installation, maintenance, and fault finding
* Familiarity with a range of fire alarm systems, including Kentec, EMS, Advanced, and Appollo
* FIA qualifications are essential
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Valid driver’s license
Day-to-Day * Travel to various job sites within the Buckingham and London areas
* Install, inspect, and repair fire alarm systems according to client needs and specifications
* Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed
* Provide exceptional customer service and address any client concerns or questions
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
