Job Description:
Are you an experienced ER Specialist based close to the Bradford area? Have you been managing cases for the past 2-4+ years and would you enjoy coaching another budding ER professional? 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced ER Expert, to join a large team based in Bradford as ER Manager (reporting into a Senior ER Manager), with the requirement to be in the office only 2 days per week. This role will support the wider business with all things People Relations, from performance management and other complex Employee Relations cases to support with wider organizational design projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a large, complex matrix structure and would enjoy coaching another member of staff.

Duties include:  * Case Management: Overseeing and managing complex employee relations cases including grievances, disciplinaries, and performance management issues, ensuring they are handled effectively and in line with company policies and employment laws.


* Coaching and Mentoring: Providing guidance and support to a junior ER professional, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in employee relations.


* Organisational Restructuring: Leading and supporting organisational restructuring projects, including redundancy processes, consultations, and change management initiatives.


* Policy Development and Implementation: Contributing to the development and implementation of ER policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with current legislation.


* Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with managers, HR partners, and other key stakeholders, providing expert advice and support on ER matters.


* Training and Development: Designing and delivering training sessions for managers and employees on various ER topics to enhance their understanding and compliance with company policies.


* Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing ER data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and preparing regular reports for senior management.


* Conflict Resolution: Facilitating mediation and conflict resolution sessions to resolve workplace disputes and maintain a positive work environment.


* Legal Compliance: Ensuring all ER activities comply with relevant employment laws and regulations, staying abreast of legislative changes and updating policies as necessary.


* Project Management: Leading and participating in various HR projects and initiatives to support the continuous improvement of the employee experience and the effectiveness of the ER function.


Requirements:

* Proven experience in managing complex ER cases for a minimum of 2 years, including end to end case management for performance management, grievances, restructures and redundancies.
* Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, as well as experience working in a large, structured organisation
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
* Experience in coaching and mentoring junior staff.
* Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
* Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
