Mechanical Contracts Manager required for our client who are a specialist M&E contractor based in Bristol with a sister office in Cardiff; they have been in business since the early 1980s. As Contracts Manager you will be responsible for the on time and on budget delivery of all mechanical installation, refurbishment and term maintenance projects within west country and Wales. The Mechanical Contracts Manager will split their time between office and site, running multiple contracts at any one time.
The Contracts Manager should have a proven background within the mechanical refurbishment sector, delivering projects in a range of sectors such as retail, student accommodation, care homes, hospitals etc. Duties will include monitoring the progress of ongoing projects, procurement of materials and sub-contractors etc. financial control of projects, with the goal of achieving profitable contracts whilst meeting the required standard, liaising with clients, managing the workforce and ensuring health and safety compliance.
Mechanical Contracts Manager Position Overview * As Contracts Manager you will have a technical background within the engineering industry and have a proven successful track record of managing mechanical contracts.
* Attending site meetings with clients
* Dealing with procurement / purchasing of required materials
* Managing budgets / forecasting costs

Mechanical Contracts Manager Position Requirements * Previous experience managing mechanical contracts / projects
* Technical background within commercial heating
* Based within commutable distance of their office in Bristol or Cardiff
Mechanical Contracts Manager Position Remuneration * £50,000-55,000 per annum depending on experience
