Our client is seeking to appoint a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurses to join their friendly nursery based in East Sheen South West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is caring, friendly and has experience of working with under 5’s.
Person Specification:
level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
Experience of working with children under 5 years of age
Good written and verbal communications
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
Some of the Nursery Nurse responsibilities will include:
* Working with EYFS curriculum and planning exciting age appropriate activities
* To effectively work as part of a team
* Supporting children at sleep times and with personal care
* Key worker responsibilities, settling new children, maintaining children’s development records and planning next steps
* Building positive relationships with parents
* Working to nursery policy and procedures
* Attending parent’s evenings and open days as required
* Attending staff meetings and training as required
* Working 40 hours per week
