This is a very exciting and progressive opportunity for a Lead Engineer looking to progress within a leading Commercial Explosive Manufacturer in the UK. This is an onsite role based out of Alfreton, Derbyshire, Monday to Friday.

The Lead Engineer will be responsible for:
* The Lead Engineer will be in charge of maintenance and compliance of Mechanical plant and all associated systems.
* Making sure plant is maintained to the highest standards minimising reactive jobs.
* Contributing to improvement of the plant equipment to company regulated standards.
* Ensuring that all mechanical equipment used on site complies the required industry standards.
 The Lead Engineer will need to have: 
* Experience as Lead Engineer with exposure to modern technology machinery, or pump machinery.
* Time served qualification in Mechanical Engineering
* General Plant and machine maintenance

* Experience working on a COMAH Site.
