Our Client, Reading Council, is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Child Protection Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
* Phone calls and visits to Special Guardians in Reading
* Review and development of Special Guardianship Support Plans
* Referrals to Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund
* Liaison with internal and external service providers
* Attendance at multi-agency meetings for children living in Special Guardianship arrangements
Requirements of this role:
* Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
* Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
* Must have minimum of 2 years experience working as a Qualified social worker in a similar team
