Location: Havering
Salary: £95-105 per day
Contract: Long Term - Permanent, Full-time
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team in a fantastic school in Newham. As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to children with special educational needs, both in and out of the classroom.
Your duties will include:
* Working with individual pupils or small groups of pupils under the supervision of a teacher
* Providing personal care and support, as required
* Assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons, as directed by the teacher
* Monitoring and recording pupils’ progress
* Establishing positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
* Undertaking training and development as required
The successful candidate will have:
* A passion for working with children with special educational needs
* Previous experience working in a similar role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility and adaptability
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
