About the Company:
Our client, a leading supplier of balustrades, is seeking a highly organised, motivated Business Development Executive to join their team.
Job Description:
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth by re-engaging with lapsed and dormant clients, as well as generating new business opportunities. This position involves a blend of fieldwork and office-based activities, with 3 days spent on the road meeting clients and 2 days working from the Head Office in Bradford.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reconnect with lapsed and dormant clients to reignite business relationships.
* Conduct market research to identify and generate new leads.
* Arrange and attend face-to-face meetings with potential and existing clients to maximise business opportunities.
* Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s product range and market.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to the client’s needs.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
* Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and pipeline status.
* Work closely with the internal sales team.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in product sales, ideally within the metal or engineering sectors.
* Technical sales background is highly advantageous.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities.
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
