Job Description:
Role: Administrator, Finance Team
Location: Edinburgh
Start date: ASAP
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)
Job type: 12-month fixed term contract
We are looking to appoint an Administrator to join our client’s finance team. This is a role within a well established firm, with offices in Edinburgh with excellent transport links. The role is suitable for someone with fluency in English and German, and strong communication skills. This role will play a key role supporting both internal and external stakeholders - you will enjoy building meaningful relationships.
Responsibilities
* Maintaining database and updating information on systems
* Respond to queries by external partners
* Managing shared emails - responding in timely and professional manner
* Ensure processes and policies are followed in all the processes you’re involved
* Support colleagues in Edinburgh office, as well as the German branch
* Other ad-hoc duties
Requirements
* English & German skills, both to professional proficiency level
* Organised individual with good time management skills
* Able to take initiative
* Good attention to detail
* Able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
This role would suit someone with previous administrative experience, but we will also consider applications from for example recent graduates with other relevant experience. The ideal candidate has an interest for Finance and Accountancy - the firm will provide learning and development opportunities to progress beyond general admin tasks.
On offer
This role will offer a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 depending on the experience. The role offers hybrid working with 3 days on site, 2 days from home. This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
