Description
* Manage and maintain the ledgers and accounts
* Coordinate with the Finance Team to ensure accurate financial reporting
* Assist with the preparation of monthly balance sheets and profit and loss statements
* Reconciliation of financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information
* Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
* Support the annual audit process
* Maintain confidentiality of organisational information
* Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Profile
A successful Ledgers Assistant should have:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance
* Strong financial and analytical skills
* Excellent knowledge of accounting software (ideally Open Accounts) and MS Office
* The ability to work well within a team and independently
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive approach to problem-solving
