Jobstore are currently seeking a Van Driver to join one of our busy clients in Oldham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in a safe and timely manner. You will be working Monday - Friday 07.00am - 16.00pm plus every other Saturday, this is a permanent position paying between £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
Your role will include:
Safely drive a commercial van to transport goods to various locations
Load and unload items from the van
Communicate effectively with the warehouse team regarding pick-up and delivery schedules
Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
Ensure all deliveries are completed on time
Requirements
Previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver is advantageous
Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Capable of driving and manoeuvring a van safely
Comfortable with heavy lifting tasks as this is a physically demanding job
Valid driver’s licence for driving a commercial vehicle
