We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented DUA Analyst to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:
The DUA Analyst will be responsible for managing and overseeing data use agreements within our syndicate. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, facilitating smooth data exchange processes, and supporting the underwriting team with accurate and timely data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data protection laws, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Use Agreement Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate data use agreements with external parties.
- Ensure all data use agreements comply with relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all data use agreements and related documentation.

2. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR and other applicable laws.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with data use and sharing.
- Conduct regular audits of data use practices to ensure ongoing compliance.

3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to understand their data needs and provide timely and accurate data analysis.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
- Analyse data trends and provide insights to support underwriting strategies.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all data use agreement-related inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to team members on data use agreement policies and procedures.

5. Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve data use agreement processes and procedures.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in data management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the syndicate remains compliant and competitive.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Data Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data use agreement management or a related role within the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of data protection regulations, including GDPR.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in a Lloyds Syndicate or the wider insurance market is highly desirable.
