Due to internal promotion, our exclusive client based in Preston are currently recruiting for a Trainee Accountant. Reporting into the Finance Manager, this successful candidate will be supported through AAT and also given on the job training to match.
The duties of the role are:
* Supporting the finance team with the month-end management accounts process
* Creating month end reports
* Support the monthly balance sheet reconciliation preparation
* Supporting the team with project and general ledger recharges and other journals
* Manage the finance inbox including ad hoc queries, project updates with the system and journals
* Invoice recharging costs
This varied role is a fantastic trainee opportunity within a finance team and would suit someone who wants to grow and develop their career within accounting. You will be given AAT study support with day release one day per week.
You will also receive a competitive salary where increases are given every 6 months as you progress through your AAT. You will have 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, a good pension scheme and Bupa.
