RISK ANALYST
UP TO £50,000
LONDON
This is a new opportunity for a hands-on analyst who is looking for a new role in the data space, where you will be responsible for helping mitigate risk across payment platforms.
THE COMPANY
This company is a global fintech in the payments space who aim to mitigate risk for merchant acquiring companies and the payments they process.
THE ROLE
You will be doing the following daily:
* Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of individual merchants and portfolios to assess their risk levels.
* Write high-quality summary reports on partners’ portfolios, providing insights into potential risk hot spots.
* Develop, implement, and automate insightful analyses that cut through the noise, offering clear, actionable suggestions for improvement to better monitor portfolios and share with partners.
* Collaborate with various payment firms and insurers to understand their needs and ensure you meet them.
* Support colleagues across the business by explaining the risks you identify and guiding product development to better meet customer needs.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* 2 + years of risk analyst experience within the payment industry.
* SQL and Python skills are desirable.
* Strong academic background in a STEM field.
* Strong data analysis skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
