Transport Planner

We are looking for experienced Transport Planners to join our rapidly growing client based in Tamworth on a temporary to permanent basis. Within this role, you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to both customers and drivers to ensure satisfaction at all times.

Working hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 7.00pm-7.00am
Payrate: £12.70, Rising once taken on Permanently
Location: Tamworth

Responsibilities:
* Providing Exceptional customer service to all customers and clients, responding appropriately and professionally to all requests.
* Allocating jobs to drivers and setting accurate time schedules to be followed.
* Accurate pricing and costing of jobs for both customers and drivers, ensuring company processes are followed.
* Working effectively as part of a team and assisting where necessary.
* Maintaining continuous contact with customers and drivers during the process of all deliveries

Requirements:
* The ability to work well within a fast-paced environment, maintaining a strong customer focus at all times.
* Strong administration and organisational skills.
* Previous customer service experience is essential for this role.
* A strong work ethic with the ability to pay close attention to detail.
* Previous industry experience is desirable, but not essential.
