We are currently working in partnership with a Council based in Northamptonshire who are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner (Capital) to join the team on a temporary basis for 2-3 months.

This will be a full-time position with the option for hybrid working and a daily rate of up to £650 umbrella.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting the closing of a Councils accounts and the production of Statutory Accounts.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Contributing to the strategic and operational management, including the closure of accounts and production of Statement of Accounts
* Ensuring all financial controls are undertaken in a timely manner and providing support with Balance Sheet monitoring and reporting
* Accurately producing reports of financial performance and ensuring control of budgets
* Assisting with the compliance processes for financial regulations and standing orders of the counci
* Supporting with the design and delivery of bespoke financial training packages to Officers

Working hours:
* 37 hours per week
* Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
