Do you have experience in QC within a molecular biology lab? We have an exciting opportunity available with a biotechnology company in Cambridge. Our client is looking to onboard an experienced QC Scientist with a biological background.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
The Role
As a QC Scientist, you will be responsible for:
* Taking a leading role in all QC operations and analytical method testing,
* Experimental troubleshooting & raising of deviations / CAPAs,
* Ensuring test records and documentation comply with GDP / GMP standards,
* Providing supervision & training to junior QC scientists.
Skills and Experience Needed
The ideal candidate will have the following:
* Extensive industry experience within a biological QC laboratory (essential)
* Experience working within a highly regulated environment - such as GMP, GLP, GDP (essential)
* BSc / MSc / equivalent work experience in a biological discipline (essential)
* Existing UK work eligibility (essential)
* Previous laboratory experience with molecular biology test methods - such as DNA quantification, ELISA-based testing (essential)
* Prior experience maintaining documentation & applying GDP (desirable)
