Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications in the field of biotechnology
* Conducting patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses
* Advising clients on IP strategy, patent portfolio management, and infringement issues
* Collaborating with inventors, researchers, and other stakeholders to capture and protect innovative ideas
* Staying up to date with the latest developments in biotech and IP law to provide informed advice and services
Qualifications and Skills:
* Part-qualified to newly qualified Patent Attorney with a focus on biotechnology
* Strong academic background in biotechnology, molecular biology, genetics, or a related field
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
