Position: Food and Beverage Account Manager
Pay Rate: £21.00/hour- Roughly £43k, Pro-Rata
Duration: 9-12 months (Maternity Cover)
Location: Remote
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team for a maternity cover role. You will be responsible for selling our products and services, managing customer relationships, and driving sales growth. This position requires expertise in food safety, food technology, and technical sales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure and promote safety practices
* Achieve and exceed sales targets
* Monitor and analyse market trends
* Build relationships with key decision-makers
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities
* Manage customer accounts and retain existing business
* Implement and promote food safety standards
* Promote and sell innovative solutions
Key Skills:
* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
* Ability to develop and execute strategic plans
* Adaptability and collaboration in a dynamic environment
* Strong commercial acumen and drive for results
* Technical expertise in food safety and equipment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and digital apps
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in technical sales, ideally in the F&B processing industry
* Willing to travel (>80% of the time)
