Job Description:
As the Commercial Manager you will provide commercial and contractual support to the business working closely with their operational sites whilst monitoring and driving improvements in operational performance standards and contract obligations.

Our client is a leading provider of comprehensive infrastructure and support services within the higher education sector and they operate across multiple regions in England.
Description
* Support execution of the commercial strategy to preserve and grow the value of the business
* Develop in depth expert knowledge of relevant contracts and key relationships between the the business units and external third parties
* Ensure key service level agreements and wider clauses are adhered to, including but not limited to variations, damages and vacation services to drive revenue and manage risk
* Participate in financial reviews to ensure costs are appropriate to contract and changes are identified and managed appropriately
* Support in delivering bench marking of services to clients through collation and analysis of data on costs and performance, as well as report preparation
* Promote awareness of service level agreements and key commercial principles
* Support Commercial Analyst on performance analysis , escalation and improvement plans
* Deliver the commercial work stream in all mobilisation projects at the respective locations to ensure commercial considerations are captured, risk mitigation strategies are implemented and actions are carried out accordingly
Profile
A successful Facilities Commercial Manager should have:
* Experience in commercial contract management and delivering service performance audits
* An understanding of complex contracts, preferably PFI/PPP
* Experience in a facilities management environment or similar
* Ability to identify opportunities to implement ongoing performance improvements and save money
* Presentation and reporting skills including advanced use of Excel

This role can be based out of London or Nottingham and will have a hybrid working pattern which will require 2-3 days a week in one of these locations with some travel across all of their client sites in England which will require occasional overnight stays so we are looking for applicants to live within one of these regions.
Job Offer
A salary of up to £60,000 is on offer and there is also an annual bonus payment of up to 20%.
