Job Title: Production Technician

Reports to: Production Team Leader

Pay rate: £11.44

Job Overview:

As a Production Technician you will be responsible for assembling for a leading manufacturing. You must be available to work 08:00-16:30 Monday - Thursday and 08:00-13:30 Friday. This role is Temp to Perm.

Primary Responsibilities:

" Assemble signal equipment
" Test completed systems
" Apply labels and custom livery to the signal equipment
" To assemble electrical sub-assemblies into the main products
" To complete relevant and associated documentation
" To keep your working area tidy and free from product and tolls not associated with the job in hand. Reference 6s standards
" To always work relevant to company processes and work instructions to maintain quality standards
" Support Stock Control for production build, monitor individual stock levels on workstations
" To assist in the completion of despatch documentation
" To fully participate in improvement activities through new processes

Candidate skills and Experience:

" Ability to get on with all types of people
" Dexterity and co-ordination
" Computer literacy including sending emails and updating spreadsheets
" Flexible attitude towards working hours
" Mechanical assembly or electrical assembly knowledge an advantage
" Awareness of the company’s health and safety requirements
