We Do Group is delighted to be managing an exclusive search for a new Group Reporting Manager to join an exciting international business in the tech space.
The incumbent will lead the implementation of a new consolidation system and ensure compliance with accounting standards across the group.
We are looking for someone who thrives on resolving complex accounting issues, supports accurate reporting, and enjoys collaborating with local finance teams.
To excel in this role, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growth-oriented environment. You will work closely with senior members of the finance team and executive management.
To be considered for this position, you should be a qualified accountant, likely with a background in practice and some industry experience. This business has a small but experienced finance team, and this is an excellent time to join as the team is poised for rapid expansion.
The Role
The successful group Reporting Manager will be involved in the following:
* Interpret and apply accounting standards (IFRS and UK GAAP) to complex transactions.
* Research and analyse accounting pronouncements and regulatory updates.
* Draft technical accounting papers and maintain group accounting policies.
* Advise finance teams and business on technical accounting matters.
* Assist team with technical accounting for budgeting and forecasting.
* Collaborate with external advisors and auditors on accounting matters.
* Support implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory changes
* Production of Group’s consolidated statutory accounts.
* Manage intercompany reconciliation process and reporting.
* Assist with investor reporting.
Your Profile
* Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA preferred.
* Strong proficiency in technical accounting and statutory reporting, encompassing IFRS and UK GAAP, with focus on standards such as IFRSs 3, 9, 15, and 16
* Expertise in preparing consolidated and statutory accounts adhering to both IFRS and UK GAAP
* Previous experience in the Group Reporting department of a sizable international corporation
* Pro-active self-starter with a curiosity mindset
* Strong Excel skills
