Monday - Friday, 45hrs per week - On Call 1 week in 5, Overtime Available
£30,000 - £32,000 per annum + Van + Mobile
Fire Alarm Engineer’s Core Duties
* Maintaining, finding faults and rectifying fire alarms
* Preparing relevant documentation in line with issues and solutions
* Work on a variety of alarm systems, from hardwired, wireless to hybrid
* Support with fire alarm servicing and installations
* Be on-call (1 week in 5) and attend call outs as necessary
Fire Alarm Engineer’s Experience Required
* Knowledge of fire standards and legislation
* Experience with Fire Alarms
* FIA training - Foundation minimum
* Health & Safety certification - manual handling, asbestos, working at heights, first aid
* 18th Edition - IEE Wiring Regulations
* ECS card
* Full driving licence
* Initiative and motivated
* Excellent time management
* Professional and presentable with great customer service skills
* Satisfactory references and a DBS check
Fire Alarm Engineer’s Desirable Skills
* Good knowledge of ISO 9000, BS5839 & BAFE
* Experience with wireless systems (EMS)
* Experience with Gent
* Experience with installation and commissioning
* FIA FD&A Advanced Installer and FD&A Advanced Maintainer
* Experience with Cash for Windows
