An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team at a vibrant school in Leeds. The successful candidate will be working within Key Stage 1 and will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning activities in the classroom.
This role is to start in September on a full time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Assist with the planning and preparation of learning materials.
* Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning objectives.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Contribute to the development of student’s social and emotional well-being.
* Assist with the assessment and tracking of student’s progress.
Requirements:
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Previous experience working in a similar role, particularly within KS1.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* A patient and adaptable approach to working in a school environment.
