Exponus Group Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced TEFL English Teacher to join our team in Newcastle. This unique role combines teaching English as a foreign language with business development activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to non-native speakers, both in-person and online, while also contributing to the growth and expansion of our educational consultancy in the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging TEFL lessons to students of various proficiency levels. Conduct classes both in-person and online. Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback. Develop customised learning materials to meet students’ needs. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the consultancy’s client base. Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials. Attend industry events, workshops, and networking opportunities to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
TEFL certification is mandatory.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching English as a foreign language.
Strong business acumen with a background in business development or sales preferred.
Knowledge of Middle Eastern markets and proficiency in Arabic is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with educational technology tools.
