Job Description:
Are you a dynamic and driven individual with a passion for maintaining and enhancing client relationships? We are seeking a talented Account Manager to join our team in the Northwest Area. As a Field-Based Account Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in nurturing and strengthening relationships with our existing clients while leveraging your sales experience to drive growth and revenue.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for achieving quarterly targets through retention, upselling, and acquiring new clients. You’ll work to retain and grow our existing account portfolio by building excellent relationships with decision makers and product users alike. Identifying opportunities from new users, additional departments, and upselling products and services will be key to your success.
You’ll also identify and provide platform and product training, working closely with Client Services to offer additional client support. Prospecting and securing new opportunities will involve researching, seeking referrals, using LinkedIn, cold calling, walk-ins, lead follow-ups, and attending property-related industry events. Analyzing client data to identify risks and changes in purchasing patterns, and taking appropriate action to retain business, will be an important part of your responsibilities.
About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in sales, account management, or a related field, ideally within the property or legal sector. You should have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and objectives, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, as well as a customer-focused mindset with experience in client retention, are essential.
You must be able to work independently and manage your time effectively in a field-based role. A valid driver’s license and a base in the North West area are required. Proficiency in IT, including emails, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and a basic understanding of CRM platforms, is also necessary.
