What You Will Do


As the Energy and Sustainability Business Development Manager, you will lead our sales team in promoting and selling sustainable energy solutions. This role requires strategic leadership, a deep understanding of the energy sector, and a strong commitment to sustainability. This is a UK-wide role with an expectation to travel 50% of the time.

How You Will Do It

* Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for energy and sustainability products and services.
* Build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry leaders.
* Collaborate with the marketing department to create effective sales campaigns.
* Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in sustainable technology.
* Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events.
* Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
What We Look For

* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
* Extensive experience in sales, particularly in the energy or sustainability sector.
* Strong understanding of sustainability and energy management practices.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to travel as required.
Preferred:

* Experience with renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency solutions.
* Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and regulations.
* Proven track record of developing new business and managing client relationships.
