**Role overview:**

Understand the client requirements for control panels, advise on design,
prepare quotations, and deliver jobs within the specifications.

**Responsibilities:**

* Understand client requirements and develop project scope for handover to the Design Team.
* Assist in preparation of quotes.
* Assist the Manufacturing Manager in the preparation of proposals to prospected clients.
* Validate project scope, BOM, and technicalities of jobs.
* Task Operations for the Procurement of parts to BOM.
* Coordinate schedules and collaborate with Panel Builders.
* Technically support the Lead Panel Builders and coordinate completion of Drawings updates.
* Collaborate with colleagues on Continuous Improvement.
* Adopt safe systems of work (RAMS).
* Observe the requirements of Permit to Work issued by site Duty Holders.
* Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

* NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Services - Panel Wiring Panel Builder or Mechanical Manufacture Engineering (fitting and assembly) or equivalent Approved Apprenticeship in Panel Wiring Panel Building.
* DegreeHND in Electrical biased Engineering discipline.
* Experience in design and assembly of industrial control panels with experience of PLC systems (5+ years required).
* Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and an understanding of the functionality of electrical switchgear.
