Job Description:
Position Overview: We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Dog Carer to join our thriving Dog Day Club Centre. Your role involves providing exceptional care, supervision, and a safe environment for dogs of all breeds and sizes. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our furry guests’ well-being and happiness while maintaining a clean and organized facility.
Responsibilities:
• Dog Supervision: Ensure a safe and positive environment by monitoring dog behaviour and interactions, preventing conflicts or health concerns.
* Transportation: Driving the dogs to and from the Day club always ensuring their safety.
* Exercise and Playtime: Engage dogs in active play sessions, organize games, agility courses, and provide mental stimulation.
* Feeding and Medication: Follow feeding schedules and administer medications, maintaining accurate records.
* Socialization: Facilitate positive interactions and smooth introductions for new dogs.
* Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean site both inside & Outdoors.
* Customer Service: Interact with dog owners, provide updates, and address concerns with professionalism and friendliness
* Social media & Photos: Helping out as a team to take and edit photos to our software and social media.
* Safety and Emergency Preparedness: Enforce safety protocols and respond effectively in emergencies.
Qualifications:
• Passion for Dogs: You should have a genuine love for dogs and a commitment to their well-being.
• Experience: Experience is preferred but not essential.
• Understanding of dog behaviour: Knowledge of dog behaviour, body language, and basic health needs.
• Physical fitness: Ability to handle dogs of different sizes and energy levels.
• Strong communication skills: Effective communication with dog owners and team members.
• Reliability and responsibility: Punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Transportation skills: Safely drive a van to pick up and drop off dogs.
